Segou was the capital of the
Bambara empire of Segou: Biton coulibaly(1712 - 1755),
Ngolo Diarra(1766 - 1787) and his son Damonzon(1792 -
1808). Segou is the second city of Mali close to river
niger, you can visit the tomb of Bitopn Coulibaly at Segou
Koro.
